Retail Pharmacist

Soliant Health has gained the reputation for partnering with the nation’s most respected hospital systems to staff interim pharmacy personnel. This Wisconsin hospital has an immediate opening for a retail pharmacist to work a 13-week contract.

Location: Waukesha, WI

Schedule: Mix of days/evenings and rotating weekends

Job Responsibilities:

• Works cooperatively with others and organizes daily workflow to optimize output
• Completes medication histories for new admissions
• Promotes hospital’s retail pharmacy program through offering of discharge prescription services
• Provides service to customers to meet or exceed their needs and expectations
• Collects and compiles data, statistics, and other information needed for quality assurance programs or reports to provide information to assist with decision making
• Participate in the team approach to quality improvements to support the Pharmacy Department
• Maintains updated knowledge and skills and contributes to the education of others
• Participates in planning processes by establishing personal goals to support quality improvement efforts and contributes to the education of departmental objectives
• Provides age/developmentally appropriate care in accordance with Developmental Specific Care Guidelines for the age groups served when participating in patient care

Ideal Candidate:

• Registered pharmacist in the state of Wisconsin
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) through the American Heart Associate
• Minimum of 1-year of retail experience opening and closing pharmacy and managing techs
• COVID VACCINE IS REQUIRED
