Per Diem Retail Pharmacist - Northern CA

Soliant Health is urgently seeking 2-3 experienced and reliable Per Diem Retail Pharmacists to provide coverage in Northern California. This opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist looking for flexibility and additional shifts. On average, 2-3 shifts per week are available, making this a great way to supplement your current part-time role or pick up extra hours.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional pharmacy services to patients in a retail pharmacy setting
Oversee pharmacy operations, including managing pharmacy technicians and ensuring accurate medication dispensing
Handle daily pharmacy tasks such as prescription verification, medication counseling, and customer service
Open and close the pharmacy as needed, maintaining safety and compliance with all regulations
Ensure all pharmacy processes are in line with best practices, improving patient care and medication safety

Skills and Experience Required:

At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, including opening/closing a pharmacy and managing pharmacy technicians (Required)
Experience with McKessons Enterprise (ERx) or Rx30 software is a plus
Ability to work independently and efficiently in a retail setting
Strong communication skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service
Willingness to commute to various locations in Northern California and cover shifts as needed
Flexibility to work per diem shifts on an as-needed basis

Job Details:

Coverage: Per diem, on-demand shifts averaging 2-3 shifts per week
Location: Various retail pharmacies in Northern CA (mileage reimbursed for travel beyond 30 miles one way)
Software: McKessons Enterprise (ERx) or Rx30
