LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Chesapeake, Virginia.
Job Description and Requirements

Position: Cardiothoracic ICU RN
Contract Length: 13 weeks, with potential for extension
Schedule Options:
3x12s or 4x12s (Overtime billed after 48 hours for 4x12s)
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Includes weekdays, every other weekend (EOW), floating, and holidays per contract
Requirements:
Certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), NIHSS required
License: Valid VA or Compact RN license in hand at time of submission
Experience:
Minimum 2 years in a CVICU/CTICU required
Travel experience preferred
Must be EPIC proficient – No exceptions
Required Skills:
Arterial and central line management, PICC line care
Titration of cardiac/vasoactive drips, sedation protocols
Post-op cardiac surgery (CABG, Impella, IABP, etc.)
Management of ventilated patients, ABG interpretation, high-flow O2 devices
Post brain surgery care, EVD/ventriculostomy experience
CRRT/CVVHD, stroke management, and more
Preferred Skills:
Thermoregulation
ICP monitoring, EVD, accessing ports
Renal failure management
