Travel Inpatient Pharmacist

Soliant Health is looking for a Travel Pharmacist for a contract position at a 200+ bed community hospital. This is a great opportunity to work in a well-established hospital in Northern Indiana, with the potential to extend beyond the initial assignment duration of 13 weeks.

Position Details:

• Type:Travel/Contract
• Role:Inpatient Staff Pharmacist
• Contract Length: 13 weeks, with an option to extend
• Shift: 2nd shift (4:00 PM 2:30 AM); may consider 7 on / 7 off schedule
• Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities Include:

• Order Verification: Review medication orders for accuracy, safety, and clinical appropriateness.
• Clinical Support: Provide pharmacokinetic monitoring, drug information, and nutritional support.
• Dispensing: Prepare and dispense sterile and non-sterile medications per USP 797/800 standards.
• Education: Counsel patients and support staff and student education.
• Operations Oversight: Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Quality Initiatives: Support medication evaluations, safety reporting, and clinical service improvements.
• Committee Work: Participate in formulary decisions and policy development.

• Holds an active Indiana Pharmacist License
• Has 2 years of inpatient-hospitalexperience
• Available to start within 2 weeks
