Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

A rehab and long-term acute care hospital in Denver is seeking an experienced Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week assignment with the potential for extension. This is a great opportunity to step into a fast-paced clinical setting and make a real impact.

Position Details:

• Immediate start available

• 13-week contract

• Day shift schedule (36-40 hours/week)

• Weekday shifts are 10 hours; weekend shifts are 6 hours

Primary Responsibilities:

• Order verification and medication review

• Pharmacokinetics dosing and monitoring

• Supervising pharmacy technicians

• Collaborating with physicians and nursing staff on patient care

• Ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and state regulations

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Pharmacist license required

• At least 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience in an inpatient setting

• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills

• Familiarity with electronic health records and pharmacy information systems
