Hospital Pharmacist

We are seeking a full-time Staff Pharmacist for a hospital located in the State College area of Pennsylvania. This is a permanent opportunity ideal for pharmacists looking to expand their clinical expertise across both inpatient and ambulatory care settingssomething not typically available in larger hospital systems where roles are often more narrowly defined.

Staff Pharmacist Inpatient and Ambulatory Care
Location: State College, PA

Position Highlights:

• Work in both central pharmacy and ambulatory care capacities

• Participate in clinical decision-making and collaborative practice agreements

• Exposure to a wide variety of responsibilities including sterile compounding, high-risk drug preparation, and chemotherapy

• Perform drug therapy monitoring, pharmacist consults, and medication reconciliation

• Join a progressive pharmacy team focused on quality patient care

Schedule:

• Variable shifts, primarily 8-hour day shifts with some afternoon rotation

Technology:

• Meditech

Requirements:

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD

• PGY1 residency or minimum 3 years of current clinical experience

• Active Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain
