Position Details:

• Role: Travel Pharmacist

• Location: Salinas, CA

• Facility: 250-Bed Community Hospital

• Duration: 13+ Weeks Engagement

• Start Date: ASAP

• Compensation: $3,000+ Gross Weekly

About the Facility: Our community hospital is committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive and team-oriented environment. As a Travel Pharmacist, youll play a vital role in delivering safe and effective medication management to a diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense and verify medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with hospital protocols.

• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize pharmaceutical care.

• Review medication profiles for drug interactions, allergies, and therapy appropriateness.

• Provide clinical guidance and drug information to healthcare staff.

• Participate in medication therapy management (MTM) and patient care rounds.

• Counsel patients and caregivers on medication use and side effects.

• Ensure safe and efficient medication processes using Meditech and Pyxis systems.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons

• 10-hour shifts, 4 shifts per week

• Flexibility required for scheduling adjustments

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License

• Hospital pharmacy experience required

• Familiarity with Meditech and Pyxis systems preferred

• Strong clinical knowledge, communication, and attention to detail

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Full-time availability for the duration of the assignment
