Compounding Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced Compounding Pharmacist for a full-time position with a well-established pharmacy located in Sugar Land, TX. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented pharmacist with hands-on compounding expertise and a commitment to exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

• Full-time

• Daytime hours (exact shift to be discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare non-sterile and sterile compounded medications according to prescribed formulas and regulatory standards

• Verify formulations, calculations, and final products for accuracy, consistency, and safety

• Collaborate with prescribers to ensure proper medication dosing and formulation

• Maintain detailed and accurate compounding records and logs

• Oversee proper storage, labeling, and handling of compounded products

• Maintain compliance with USP guidelines, Texas Board of Pharmacy regulations, and internal SOPs

• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians involved in the compounding process

• Provide exceptional customer service and patient education as needed

Requirements:

• Active Texas Pharmacist License in good standing

• Demonstrated experience with pharmaceutical compounding (non-sterile required; sterile a plus)

• Knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> standards

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Local to Sugar Land, TX
