Inpatient Pharmacist

We are seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to join a leading healthcare facility in Asheville, NC for an ASAP start. This 13+ week travel contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity inpatient setting.

Job Title: Inpatient Pharmacist 13+ Week Contract
Location: Asheville, NC (Confidential Facility)
Type: Contract (13 Weeks +), Travel
Shift: Variable Day/Afternoon Shifts
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Dispense medications according to physician orders

• Monitor patient medication regimens and provide drug information to medical staff

• Ensure medication safety, accuracy, and compliance with regulations

• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care

• Perform clinical assessments and offer recommendations on drug therapy

• Provide education to staff and patients regarding medication-related concerns

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina pharmacist license

• 2+ years of current inpatient pharmacy experience

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Experience with hospital pharmacy systems preferred
