Long-Term Care Pharmacist In Charge

A fast-paced, 24/7 long-term care facility in Rochester, NY is seeking a hands-on Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a direct hire leadership role. This is an opportunity to take full operational responsibility in a high-volume setting, overseeing pharmacy workflows, compliance, HR matters, and clinical excellence.

About the Role:

• Full-time, onsite leadership position

• Open to relocation and relocation assistance

• Oversee pharmacy staff, technicians, and support personnel

• Supervise daily operations, including clean room and IV/TPN production

• Maintain legal and regulatory compliance across all pharmacy activities

• Provide mentorship and promote team performance and accountability

• Actively participate in staffing and support during peak periods

Requirements:

• Active New York Pharmacist license

• 510 years of experience in hospital, retail, or LTC pharmacy

• Prior LTC leadership experience required

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and team-building skills

• Must be comfortable with administrative responsibilities, HR oversight, and floor support

• Familiarity with Framework or ECM software is a plus
