Travel Pharmacist

Were urgently hiring for a Pharmacy Manager (PIC) in Cameron Park, CA (just outside Sacramento). This is a high-priority role with an immediate start ideal for a motivated leader ready to step in and make a difference from day one!

Position Details:

• Role: Pharmacy Manager + PIC

• Location: Cameron Park, CA

• Volume: ~13 prescriptions/day

• Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Duration: ASAP start; coverage through Managers leave of absence (end date TBD)

• Order Entry System: CareTend (training provided)
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily communication with the Operations Director

• Maintain pharmacy workflow and verify prescriptions

• Manage pharmacy inventory and staff (2 pharmacy technicians)

• Handle wholesaler invoices

• Provide necessary clinical onboarding and patient counseling

• Maintain operational excellence in a specialty-focused pharmacy (Oncology, Rheumatology)

Support Provided:

• Two pharmacy technicians (order entry, phones, packing, receiving)

• On-the-job training available via crash course or MS Teams

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License (required)

• Proficiency in Microsoft systems and retail settings

• Management experience preferred

• Specialty medication experience (preferred but not required)

• Open to experienced Retail Pharmacists looking to step into a leadership role!
