Full Time Long Term Care Pharmacist In Charge - Near San Antonio, TXSoliant Health is seeking a full-time Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a prominent Long-Term Care facility near San Antonio, TX. As the PIC, you will oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, and play a key role in motivating and guiding your team. Your responsibilities will include implementing quality assurance programs, managing medication dispensing and labeling, and ensuring the safe delivery of medications to patients. This is a hands-on leadership role where your presence and expertise will be key to the success of the pharmacy team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy setting
- Prior experience as a Pharmacist In Charge or in a management role
- Extensive knowledge of pharmacy procedures, legal regulations, and quality assurance
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- A Pharm.D. or equivalent degree in Pharmacy/Pharmacology
