Full-Time Inpatient Pharmacist - El Centro, CA

Soliant Health is seeking a skilled and reliable Inpatient Pharmacist for a 13-week travel assignment in El Centro, CA. Position Overview:
As an Inpatient Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medication management services, including order verification, pharmacokinetics, and consulting with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care. You will work closely with a dedicated team of pharmacy technicians and healthcare professionals to ensure the safe and effective use of medications in a hospital setting.

The position offers 10-hour shifts (4 days a week) with some on-call responsibilities, which are shared by the staff. This is a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, strong clinical knowledge, and communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure quality of work.

• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding pharmacokinetics and other medication-related issues.

• Monitor and optimize medication therapy for patients.

• Be available for on-call duties as required, sharing responsibility with the team.

Qualifications:

• Active California Pharmacist License (required).

• Inpatient pharmacy experience (required).

• Ability to start immediately (ASAP).

• Cerner experience (highly preferred).

• Strong clinical knowledge, including pharmacokinetics and medication management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Additional Information:

• Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with 10-hour shifts (4 days a week).

• Some on-call duties, shared among staff members.

• This is a 13-week assignment with the possibility of temp-to-hire.
