Retail Pharmacist

Position Details:

• Schedule: As needed to cover scheduled summer vacation time and potentially ongoing needs

• Hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 5:00 PM

• Setting: Traditional retail pharmacy

Responsibilities Include:

• Verifying prescriptions and ensuring accurate medication dispensing

• Providing patient consultations and delivering exceptional customer service

• Collaborating with prescribers and supervising pharmacy technicians

• Maintaining compliance with pharmacy regulations and internal procedures

Requirements:

• Active and clear California Pharmacist License

• Recent experience in a retail pharmacy setting

• Proficiency with DataScan pharmacy software (or ability to learn quickly)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment

• Fluency in Spanish is required to best serve the community
