Travel Interim Staff Pharmacist

Are you a licensed pharmacist in Kentucky looking for a short-term, impactful opportunity? This interim travel contract provides a flexible 4 to 5-week position where you can make a meaningful difference in patient care without the commitment of a long-term contract. If you're looking to use your inpatient pharmacy experience in a new setting, this is the perfect chance to step into a role with no weekend or on-call shifts.

Role:Staff Pharmacist
Start Date: ASAP
Duration:4 week+
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm (no weekends or on-call required)
Key Responsibilities:

• Order Verification: Ensuring accuracy and safety in medication orders
• Omnicell Reconciliation: Resolving discrepancies and managing overrides
• Clinical Monitoring: Engaging in antimicrobial and pain stewardship, and providing ongoing therapy monitoring
• Med Pass and Home Med Reviews: Verifying patient medications and reviewing home medications
• Team Collaboration: Working closely with pharmacy technicians to support tasks like stocking, prepacking, and pulling expired medications

What We're Looking For:

• Immediate Availability:Must be available to start within 1-2 weeks as this will begin in May
• Licensed in Kentucky: Active pharmacistlicense must bein good standing
• Inpatient Experience: Ideal candidates will have inpatient-hospital experience, though were open to entry-level pharmacists with a desire to learn
• Software Familiarity: WellSky and Omnicell experience is a plus, but well train you on the systems
