Soliant Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Per Diem Retail Pharmacist to support a well-respected FQHC in the San Diego, CA area. This is an exciting opportunity for a pharmacist looking for flexible, as-needed work during the summer months and potentially beyond. If you're a seasoned retail pharmacist who thrives in a collaborative healthcare setting and is passionate about patient care, this role may be an excellent fit.Position Overview:
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Start Date: As needed (to cover PTO during summer and possibly beyond)
- Setting: Community Health / Outpatient Retail Pharmacy
- Perform standard retail pharmacist duties, including dispensing medications, patient consultations, and supervising pharmacy technicians
- Collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to ensure optimal patient care and medication management
- Uphold all state and federal pharmacy regulations and guidelines
- Navigate and utilize DataScan pharmacy software system with proficiency
- Active California Pharmacist License in good standing
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience
- Fluency in Spanish is required to effectively serve the patient population
- Proficient in the use of DataScan or similar pharmacy software systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
