Inpatient Hospital Pharmacist

Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced inpatient/clinical pharmacist to join our team in an 80-bed hospital setting. Position: Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist
Location: Lakewood, NJ
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 13-weeks
Shift: Shift Times: 7:30-4, rotating 6:30-3, 8:30-5, 10:30-7, and 2:30-11 for 5 x 7.5-hours (37.5 hours total per week)
Duties:

• Checking and verifying prescriptions
• Working ICU rounds as a clinical pharmacist, perform antibiotic stewardship activities, support med/surg.
• Overseeing the dispensing
• Shipment of outpatient specialty medications to patients
• Need to be able to answer clinical questions for patients and perform clinical assessments.
• Consulting with physicians and nurses

Experience:

• Holds a NJ pharmacist license
• Software: EPIC experience preferred but not required
• 2-years of inpatient/clinical experience required, rounding clinical pharmacist experience required. Experience working in ICU and with antibiotic stewardship programs
• Local candidates are highly preferred, but travel expenses will be considered
